RelayVac Lite is a very simple trainer or "development board" for the basic relay logic circuits testing. It's a lite version of my "big" RelayVac - my own version of the MINIVAC 601, which was created in USA in 1961.

original MINIVAC 601 |
Original MINIVAC 601 contains 6 relays with DPDT contacts for general purpose. My "big" RelayVac contains 8 relays + 2 relays on the "expansion module". So it has 10 relays with DPDT contacts for general purpose and there are 2 relays (SPDT) for the motor control too. My RelayVac Lite is on the single side PCB 20x20cm and it contains:
4x relay with DPDT contacts. Relay coils are 12V DC, 960R. Each coil has parallel light indicator (LED + the bridge rectifier instead of bulb)
4x universal light indicator (jumbo LED + the bridge rectifier instead of bulb)
4x toggle switch with SPDT contacts
4x push button with SPDT contacts
2x Si diode 3A
2x resistor 68R/4W (parallel combination of 120R and 150R in my prototype)
2x electrolytic capacitor 1G (1000uF)
168x male 6,3mm faston connector
For playing with RelayVac Lite you need also external power supply (adapter) 12V/1A and 20-50 cables 10-25cm long with 6,3mm female faston connectors.

With the RelayVac Lite you can provide simple experiments with the basic logic ciruits, like this:
Logic gates (YES/NOT, AND/NAND, OR/NOR, XOR/XNOR)
Multiplexers
Demultiplexers, 1 from N decoders
half and full adder
2's complement generator
E and Z flags generator
oscillators (astable, monostable, bistable)
latches
flip-flop and binary counters
games (The farmer, goose, wolf and capusta)
and some others...
Here is full description (in the Czech language) and schematics of RelayVac Lite. And here is my big RelayVac.
